You might have caught Wonder Woman at the theatre recently. If you did, you’d know there’s a scene where a man transforms into a muscle-bound god. Wouldn’t it be cool if something like this could happen in real life? Obviously, it couldn’t be instant like the movies, but if you work for it, you might find you could achieve it in just under a month. That’s right, in just under a month you could completely alter your body and have your shirt bursting at the seams.
Will it take work? You bet, but you’ll definitely be pleased with the results when you’ve finished. So, the only question you need to ask yourself is, how can you do it? How can you become a muscle god? Well, we’ve got all the answers.
Boost Your Diet
One of the biggest mistakes people often make when they are trying to build muscle is to not bother changing their diet at all. If you do this, then there’s a good chance that you’ll burn off your muscle with the type of exercise routine that we’re going to discuss a little further down. You have to be prepared to eat more. True muscle builders consume truly insane levels of food every day. Dwayne Johnson, for instance, is known to consume about five times the amount of calories of the typical man. But even amateurs do this, and that’s great because it’s an excuse to pig out. You can literally eat as much as you want if you’re on a solid exercise routine.
Fancy a pancake mountain for breakfast? If so then it’s your lucky day or even month because if you want to build muscle fast you really have to be doing this all the time. Essentially, you’re looking at starting something like the Atkins diet, building muscle on a low carb diet while consuming plenty of protein.
And, if you find that you’re not getting enough protein in your typical diet, you can always cheat a little. You can add protein powder to your drinks or even your meals. If you don’t want to taste it, just add it to a smoothie with lots of other ingredients. Though, some of the best powders actually taste fantastic.
Once you’ve boosted your diet and you’re eating a lot more, it’s time to get physical.
Transforming Your Body
Chris Pratt recently complained online about the intensive diet and fitness routine he has to go on to get in shape for movies like Jurassic World. However, the results speak for themselves, and that’s why if you want to build muscle, you should really be looking at the type of routines they use.
But, if you want some quick tips, we can certainly provide them. First, you need to be completing weightlifting tasks, and it’s not enough to lift what you can. You need to push yourself to lift more than you think you’ll be able to. To do that, you have to work with a spotter who can help hold the weights when you can’t. When it comes to weightlifting, less is actually more. This means that doing a smaller amount of sets with heavier weights is better for muscle building than multiple sets with weights that are easy to lift. Don’t worry too much about straining your muscles. This probably will happen at first, but your body will get used to it, and you can push yourself further once it does. If you’re worried about damaging your body, work out with a pro. That way you’ll have a fitness trainer to tell you when you’re doing too much. But you’ll be surprised how much your body can actually take and the effect it could have.
It’ also worth thinking about how often you should be exercising. The general rule here is that it depends on how much you’re eating. If you’ve taken our advice and pushed up your diet to include more protein and plenty of it, feel free to workout every day, at least twice for up to two hours. Your body will have the fuel to do this. After a week or two, you will start to see a definite change to your body.
There’s one final tip we can offer for those guys who struggle to eat more food. Don’t try and fit it all into three meals. Instead, have protein snacks – around six or nine – spread out throughout the day. You’ll find your food a lot easier to consume if you do this.
Work for it and we guarantee by the end of that first month you’ll look a lot like this.
