St. Martin is a gem in the Caribbean, with many beaches and bays to explore, accompanied by a range of activities and water sports. If you know how to sail (or someone in your group does), chartering a yacht is the best way to enjoy this breath taking part of the Caribbean.

Sailing a yacht can be relaxing in itself but St. Martin also has an array of activities to take part in on shore.  Whether you are looking for a calm sport such as golf or something more thrill seeking, St. Martin has many to choose from.

Begin your yacht charter in Marigot Bay. This is home to Creole Rock, which is one of the best dive sites on the French side of St. Martin. It is a great spot for diving whether you are a beginner or an experienced diver. If you dive here you can expect to see fan corals, an abundance of fish, flying gurnards, eagle rays and octopus.

For something a little more on the extreme side, sail over to Orient Bay and get your fill of water sports. There are plenty to choose from such as, surfing, windsurfing, wake-boarding, jet-skiing, kite-surfing, water-skiing, kayaking and deep-sea fishing. With year round ideal temperatures, you can guarantee perfect conditions for all types of water-sports. Or, try a land bike tour or hiking on extreme trails to explore this paradise island.

In Orient bay there are places for a scenic anchorage while you take part in the nightlife of St. Martin, which can include clubs and concerts. You can even hit up the nude beaches in the area.

Continue your men’s holiday with a game of golf on Mullet Bay of St. Marten, the Dutch side of the island. Once a resort, this golf course is lined with tropical trees with lagoon hole obstacles. With well kept, short fairways, this course has been proven to be a challenge. If golf is your forte, there are many tournaments throughout the year that you and your mates can participate in.

End your sailing holiday in Great Bay. This is your time to relax and take in the shops, delicious food and lively casinos. Who needs Las Vegas when you have Great Bay of St. Martin?

Chartering a yacht doesn’t have to be all sailing, anchor and take in the many beaches and bays of St. Martin. If there ever was a great place for a guys’ getaway, this is it. Get away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life and charter a yacht in St. Martin. Check Late-sail for the best selection of yachts and prices.
