As the largest and perhaps glitziest of the seven United Arab Emirates, there are so many attractions to visit.

Burj Khalifa

Standing at 829.8 metres, Burj Khalifa is the world’s tallest man-made structure. This is a must-see in order to truly appreciate the magnificence of Dubai. Travel in a high speed elevator to the 124th floor; here you’ll encounter the observation deck which offers spectacular 360 degree panoramic views. Tip: Visit during the evening to see the city come alive.

Burj al-Arab

The world’s tallest hotel, standing at 321 metres, Burj al-Arab is situated on its own man-made coastal island. Famously shaped like a ship’s sail, this is one of the world’s most decadent and luxurious hotels. For a memorable and truly lavish evening, dine at the hotel’s underwater restaurant, Al-Mahara.

Deira Souks

If designer goods aren’t your thing and you don’t want to spend a day at one of Dubai’s shopping malls, then head to Deira for traditional souks. Visit the world’s largest Gold bazaar, famous Spice Souq and other markets selling fabric, food and furniture.

There’s a huge and ever growing selection of bars to choose from in Dubai. Here are a few that offer unique experiences:

Named for good reason, this award-winning bar is located on a jetty and is home to a 360° dance floor. This outdoor bar is a must-see and is the perfect place to watch the sunset.

Armani Prive

Part of Giorgio Armani’s empire, this black and white bar is the perfect place to spend a sophisticated evening. Complete with a viewing platform, Armani Prive is often filled with elite clientele; you’ll have to dress to impress to gain entry.

Cirque du Soir

Part of a luxury chain that started in London, this circus themed bar will provide a night to remember, with performers including burlesque dancers, jugglers and fire breathers. It’s also a celebrity stomping ground, with A-list visitors such as Lady Gaga and Leonardo DiCaprio.
