Basel Behavior
We are just a few months from Miami’s Art Basel and the excitement for the international art show is palpable. Invitations are being sent, venues are being secured, and artists are deciding what to showcase to the insatiable aficionados who descend upon Miami once a year for Basel. It is an exciting time but what do you do if you don’t have the time to pop into Miami to purchase your own piece of art? Up until today, I’d say stop by Miami’s own Musart Boutique or visit them online.

Forging New partnerships
Lucky for you they have just announced their latest collaboration with HiO. This Brooklyn-based concept store will be the newest place to grab your Musart Boutique pieces. Miami is affectionately known as the 5th borough due to the large presence of New York transplants, so it makes perfect sense that Miami’s own Musart Boutique would take its Miami vibes to Brooklyn for a residency inside HiO.

European Sensibilities
HiO is Latin for amazing and with over 250 brands you’ll have no shortage of items to take your breath away. They specialized in exclusively curated European brands that excite the American palate and aren’t easily accessible to the US market.

Pushing Back Against the Status Quo
Musart Boutique started out as an alternative to the conservative gift shops of fine art museums. The owner understood that if he could make the items more approachable, more people would be able to incorporate art into their daily lives. The end result was a store that highlights artists like Warhol, Dali, and Basquiat. They focus on home goods, fashion, and gifts.

This collaboration is significant because it signals a widening appreciation of approachable art, that is curated specifically for those trying to make their lives more beautiful.

Musart Boutique and HiO’s collaboration will start this Saturday and will continue indefinitely. Both places offer online shopping, but if you are in Miami or Brooklyn be sure to go see all the dopeness for yourself.
The aspiring gentleman received product from Musart. All opinions are my own.
