The liver is an essential organ in the body, and it supports several important functions, including:

  • Production of bile, useful in digestion of fat
  • Conversion of nutrients into energy

  • Storage of iron

  • Yellowish skin whites of the eyes (jaundice)
  • Weakness
  • Mental confusion
  • Extreme tiredness
