1. Check the map before you drop.

As soon as the cutscene of the cargo plane starts, one can see on the map where the shrinking gas circle will start. Now, do not assume you are the only one who knows that, as it is highly likely that everyone else who is on the cargo plane knows about this as well. So, dropping directly into the circle is out of the question as that is where most of the other passengers of the cargo plane will drop, and a massive melee will ensue.
Stay away from the initial bloodbath and choose a destination that is close to the shrinking gas circle and from where you can easily travel to the designated area.
2. Take out enemy combatants during the drop.
One way Call of Duty: Warzone is different from every other first-person shooting battle royale game in the market is that it allows a player to target an enemy during the drop as well. If you can take an enemy during the drop, then do it by using a pistol. Try to take out as many enemies as possible as you can during the drop, though make sure that you don’t spend too much time in the air as it would allow other enemy players to spot you and create a trap for you.
3. Don’t ignore contracts.
Contracts are an easy way for one to make some money in Call of Duty: Warzone. There are five different types of contracts in Call of Duty: Warzone, Bounties, Recon, Most Wanted, Supply Run, and Scavenger. The rewards for each of these contracts are significantly different and dependent on the difficulty levels. In Season 5, one needs to have at least $4000 to revive their teammate, and these contracts are a great way to get some quick cash.
4. Make use of the Gulag.
What makes Call of Duty: Warzone different from every other first-person shooter game out there is that death in the game doesn’t mean the end of your journey. If you die at the end of the game, you are sent to Gulag, where you have to fight a one-on-one deathmatch to re-enter the battlefield. And your loss at Gulag’s deathmatch does not mean your game is over; your teammates can still buy you back if they have sufficient money with them.
5. Watch for flares
Flares are an essential feature of Call of Duty: Warzone, and one can do a lot if they keep a keen eye on the flares. There are two circumstances, and only two, when a flare is sent out on the sky – a white flare and a red flare. The white flare is sent where one is starting to capture a recon contract point, while the red flare indicates that someone is buying back their squadmate. By keeping an eye for the flames, you can easily get a drop on the enemy players.
