When it comes to accessories, a few items get to be held as absolute necessities in anyone’s wardrobe. But as great a purpose that a good leather belt or a luxurious tie serve to their wearer, they cannot beat the utility that comes with a good pair of Randolph Concorde Sunglasses .
And when you speak of sunglasses, the mention of certain brands gets to be inevitable. While international brand names are famous for a reason, one of my favorites gets to be Randolph Sunglasses, an American company that still makes each of its glasses by hand, and ensures that all manufacturing is done right at its headquarters so that each pair could be checked for the utmost quality, right as it gets made.
Sounds too good to be true? That it isn’t.

Randolph – The Story
Randolph’s story is a classic tale of the American dream. The company was started in 1973 by two immigrants, Jan Waszkiewicz, and Stanley Zalesk, a former Royal Air Force navigator and machinist, respectively. Together, they settled their shop in the small town of Randolph, Massachusetts, and that is where the eponymous company was born.
Today, Randolph upholds the name of that town by ensuring that it makes sunglasses like none other. Being the only remaining metal eyewear company in the U.S. and making its sunglasses following an intricate process that involves over 200 steps, each pair that comes out of Randolph’s workshop gets to be impeccable and essentially has years of collective work behind it.
And Randolph’s story is one of the many reasons why I like wearing their sunglasses so much. The fact that their pairs sport great comfort and exude immense sophistication is an added bonus, to be honest.
Randolph Concorde Sunglasses – The Meat of the Discussion
While I have used a few of their designs in the past, I currently have a pair of their Concorde sunglasses with me, which come in a classic style that goes great with both formal and casual attire.
They seem to be the perfect fit for me in the sunny Miami weather as well, their scratch resistant glass and UVA/UVB protection are a bonus. Protecting your eyes and your sight should be one of the utmost priorities for anyone, especially when you live in a place that is more often sunny than it is not.
And the compliments that I receive – or more like these sunglasses receive – seem to be the icing on the cake. When I tell those people who assume that it is just another international brand (you know which one), I make sure to give Randolph the credit that it is due and retell its story to them.
In fact, having such an encounter with a friend was the reason why I was inspired to write all this in the first place.
If you want to go ahead and check out Randolph’s collection, feel free to do so. They’ve got sunglasses for both men and women in a variety of styles.
Find something that suits you easily.
When you do buy, tell them that a fan sent you their way!
