It’s almost fathers day, and you’re probably wondering what your father would love. Well, I know my father likes bourbon and enjoys trying new craft bourbons. Suppose your father is like mine; check out Angels Envy Bourbon. I just bought a bottle and loved it. This is truly an artist’s creation in hand-blended batches between 8 to 12 barrels at a time. If your father has a sophisticated taste and enjoys bourbon, he will love this bourbon.

Angels Envy: Bourbon Whiskey Characteristics

Angels Envy Bourbon Whiskey is Finished in Port Wine Barrels and aged for six years and finished in a ruby port wine cask. The barrels are made from French oak, creating the smoothness, sweetness, and balance you taste in the finished product.

As with all great bourbons, Angels Envy is produced in Kentucky. I personally really enjoyed this selection. Upon opening the bottle, the appearance was stunning. It is well packaged and a great brand label. This bourbon whiskey certainly lives up to its profile. The company lists this blend in a few different ways. They share the appearance, smell, taste, and finish.

After the initial smell, the vanilla and then the maple syrup smell trickled in and was notably present. The vanilla and maple syrup are noticeable through taste as well. They are in the perfect ratio. The name “Angel’s Envy” comes from the fact that distillers expect a certain percentage of the liquor to be lost due to evaporation; this is called the angels share; they need their spirits too.
