Dress Well
If I were a girl, I’d want my boyfriend to dress well when he takes me out. I wouldn’t find it very romantic if he rocked up in sweatpants and a hoodie. There’s a time and a place for that look, and it isn’t on a romantic evening for two. Make sure you’re showered and well-groomed, perhaps style your hair how she likes it best. Dress in some smart clothes, but not too smart. You don’t need to put on a full-on tuxedo and top hat. But, a nice shirt wouldn’t go amiss. Then, put on a bit of her favorite aftershave. You want to ensure you smell nice; girls love it when you smell good. Don’t go overboard, too much and the scent will be way too overpowering. You’ll end up smelling like a gas station!
Buy Her Flowers
You can’t go wrong with buying your girlfriend some flowers. Not every girl will like flowers bought every day; that would be overkill! But, if you want to create the perfect romantic evening, you have to get her some flowers. And, of course, they have to be the most romantic flower of them all, the rose! Head on down to your local flower shop and pick out some lovely red roses for her. Or, buy roses online at Flowers For Everyone and save yourself some time. When you go to pick her up, you can show up with the roses in your hand. It’s small gestures like this that will make her feel very happy. It shows you’re appreciative of her.
Take Her To A Fancy Restaurant
There’s nothing wrong with a little coffee date, in fact, it’s the perfect lunch date to go on. However, we’re talking about a romantic evening here. For me, the date starts with dinner at a fancy restaurant. No paninis and cappuccinos here, I’m talking a classy establishment. The type of restaurant where you have to book a week in advance and the waiters scoff if you’re wearing trainers. You want to treat her to a fine meal, let her pick anything from the menu. Perhaps get a bottle of champagne or a couple of cocktails too. This evening is going to be special. Something the two of you will remember for years to come.
Go For A Romantic Walk
After your nice long dinner, it’s time to unwind and go for a romantic walk. Night time walks around the city are the best. It’s even better at Christmas time because the Christmas lights and decorations are all up. Walking around town hand in hand with your girlfriend under the Christmas lights, it doesn’t get more romantic than that! What a perfect way to end a perfect evening.
