Looking great on a virtual meeting can be a challenge, especially if you are a famous celebrity and rely on your outfits to get noticed and promote your work. For celebrities in the COVID-19 era, some have had to learn the ins and outs of Zoom pandemic fashions for virtual award shows and other events. These celebs have mastered the art of looking fabulous over Zoom.

Michelle Pfeiffer

One tip to look amazing on Zoom is to go bold with your look. The top you wear should make a statement and hold nothing back. During 2021’s virtual Golden Globes, Michelle Pfeiffer took this advice to heart with a sparkly, sequined top, slacks, and a bold belt that was a mix of comfortable and glam.

Angela Bassett

Another memorable fashion entry for 2021’s virtual Golden Globes was Angela Bassett’s purple dress by Dolce & Gabbana. Her look incorporated a lot of embellishments, a must for Zoom fashion. Her dress featured beaded trim, feathers, and a rich jewel tone.

Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor-Joy’s Golden Globes look was stunning, with an emerald green dress and a plunging neckline by Christian Dior. Despite lounging at home during the virtual event, Taylor-Joy secured her identity as a fashion icon. She won the best actress award for her role in The Queen’s Gambit.

Meghan Markle

Another celebrity who seems to understand the art of looking gorgeous on Zoom is Duchess Meghan Markle. Markle attended numerous Zoom meetings throughout the pandemic and showed an effortless yet chic style. One memorable Zoom was during the Fortune Most Powerful Women event meeting. Markle used accessories and patterns to her advantage with a striped button-down shirt and a gold charm necklace.

Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick focused on showing off beautiful jewel tones for a Zoom press conference she had in May 2020. She chose to wear a Dolce and Gabbana tropical print dress for the virtual meeting. She even added footwear to her outfit with Christian Louboutin pumps to complete the look.

Zendaya

The 2020 Emmy awards went virtual, but Zendaya wasn’t about to let that stop her from being fashionable. Zendaya won her first Emmy award for her work on HBO’s Euphoria. When it was time for her to accept her award, she rocked a stunning Armani Privé two-piece dress with sequins and large-print polka dots.

Kerry Washington

Also, at the 2020 Emmys was Kerry Washington. She elevated her Zoom virtual fashion with a beaded form-fitting number by Dolce & Gabbana. Her look was a throwback to the flapper era, complete with a vintage bob hairstyle.

Kate Middleton

British royal Kate Middleton had to take on Zoom meetings to complete her duties throughout the pandemic. Her styles aimed to make the royal family more down-to-earth, with at-home looks that appeared more accessible. Middleton wore several looks in pastel colors, such as a blue Tabitha Webb sweater and a blue Boden floral dress for meetings with health officials.

Heidi Klum

Model and television host Heidi Klum opted for a comfy and bold style for her Zoom look during a meeting with an Arizona factory in 2020. Her pants were a simple pair of black leggings paired with running shoes. Up top, however, she combined a bright green cocktail dress with a long-sleeved fuchsia blouse.

Gabrielle Union

Gabrielle Union made her mark as a guest at Miu Miu’s virtual fashion show in October of 2020. Despite appearing only on video, Union dazzled in a black two-piece number, complete with a sheer skirt and rhinestone accessories.

The last two years have shown the world that celebrities and fashion designers can improvise and make waves in the industry no matter what. The Zoom fashions from the pandemic have adapted to the virtual format and taken styles in a new direction.
