Knob Creek 15 Year Bourbon
One night I was sitting around kicking back with a group of friends enjoying storytelling with Knob Creek. It was a great time laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Thinking to myself, I do not think life can get better than this, but it did. One of my friends brought a bottle of Knob Creek 15 Year Bourbon; as soon as it hit the table and went right to our glasses. I knew Knob Creek made a smoked maple, rye, 12 year and even a select bourbon. I never heard or seen their 15-year bourbon. I was in heaven when it hit my tongue. I did not think that Knob creek could outdo themselves, but they did. This bottle was even smoother than the original. I usually add a few drops of water to my bourbon to open it up, but with the 15 year, I enjoyed it neat. I enjoyed the hint of the caramel smell with under notes of dark fruit, which draws that added little sweetness to the bourbon. There was the perfect amount of spice on the tongue to enjoy the flavor of the bourbon. I know I must act fast; this is offered as a limited-time release and hitting shelves this month.
