America’s Must-See Travel Spots

America has an astounding variety of attractions for the traveler. I’ve done my share of travel around the good ol’ USA, and I still feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of the possible. Because a long list of must-see places would be overwhelming, I’ve narrowed things down to my personal picks of bucket list destinations in the US.

I love cities, and they’re among my top choices whenever I plan a recreational trip in America. New York City is the top American destination in many people’s minds. It’s a bit of a tourist trap, though—the hassle involved in checking out places like the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty is disheartening. But if you’re an art lover, you’ll enjoy visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, the Guggenheim Museum, and many other art spaces.

I’ve lived in Los Angeles, so it’s hard for me to view it as a tourist. I’m not enthralled by the glamor of Hollywood or Beverly Hills, nor by the merriness of Disneyland. LA does have a great club scene, and you can go for a stroll along Venice Beach or explore the Getty Center. Many tourists will get more out of charming downtown San Diego or artsy (if expensive) San Francisco. And for pure entertainment, you can’t beat the glittering city of Las Vegas, and if you want to get a little glimpse of what awaits you in Sin City, you can certainly head to Magical Vegas, the popular online casino with a Las Vegas themed and casino games worth the top casino in Vegas. Magical Vegas also provides you with thrilling live casino games such as blackjack and roulette that can make you experience the immersive casino atmosphere of Vegas.

Washington, DC is a must-see for every American, and for every foreign visitor who wants to get to know the USA. Beyond the White House and the well-known monuments, DC also houses the Smithsonian Institution’s 15 museums and the National Zoo. Don’t miss the Air and Space Museum, where you can see the Apollo 11 lunar module and the Spirit of St. Louis.

I do also love the American wilderness. If you love nature destinations, you’ll want to see Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls. Finally, no USA bucketlist is complete without the majestic Grand Canyon. It’s a truly awe-inspiring sight to behold.
