Thanks to its growing popularity soon you may soon be able to light up the night sky, at an upcoming night golf event near you. If you’re looking for an exciting and new ways to play golf. You can beat the heat, by playing at night.
Night Golf is seriously fun and can be enjoyed by many ability levels. Imagine hitting illuminated golf balls and a driving range full of LED lights, hoops, and targets. That sounds cool, right? These are the glow in the dark golf balls that I use.
It happens that to be great you need to improve your game without pressure. Here are some tips for a better golf swing:
Keep Your Swing On The Line
The goal is to keep your club face open and point towards the target. Picture a line running from your golf ball to the target, then swing the clubface on that line.
Visualize your swing and the trajectory of the ball. This can be quite useful. Keep the ball ahead of the center which makes it easier to hit the square clubface.
Grip with Your Fingers
An inexperienced golfer uses their palm for gripping, which causes hooks and slices. This is caused by over control. The summer heat can cause clubs to slip through your sweaty hands. This has happened on more than one occasion.
Let the club’s grip rest where your fingers connect with your palm. Relax your grip and focus on the path of your swing, instead of focusing on your grip.
Stay Committed and Follow Through
The greatest evil in a golfer’s swing, next to a bad grip, if the lack of follow through. One of the best tips I’ve ever received is “keep your head down and your chin up.”
At impact, the club should fully release, while your head stays behind the ball. Your head should rise naturally with your right shoulder. This motion will help to create a balanced, smooth follow through.
A Balanced Approach
Balance should really be the first item on the list. Yet, balance extends beyond posture. Sure, you must remember to keep your shoulders over your knees when you prepare to swing.
However, you should approach the ball with a balanced swing. Otherwise, you will not be able to have a smooth, consistent delivery. In golf, the balance should extend to your mental state. You should maintain a focused and positive state of mind.
