With a new seasonal change arriving, summer plans will start raining heavily on us without even noticing. Do you know what this means, boys? It’s time to start that wardrobe hunt and check on the clothes in our closets. While putting on an outfit can seem simple, many gentlemen take their time to ensure confidence and class for the outcome. Can you become a master stylist after learning a few tips and spice up your fashion style? Why not!

Spending few more minutes planning your outfit for the day can actually improve the way you dress. After living in our loungewear for more than a year, the fashion world has changed. It’s time for you to step up to the game. Here are five tips to improve your fashion style:

  1. Add accessories.
  2. Make sure your clothes fit perfectly.
  3. Wear more colors.
  4. Get out of your comfort zone.
  5. Own more shoes.

Add Accessories

The concept may sound strange to you, gentlemen. However, accessories have entered the men’s fashion world and have earned their stay. It’s a common misconception to think that men should not wear any accessories. Yet, what they don’t know is that a simple bracelet or stylish prescription glasses online can change your whole day. Keep in mind that options for men’s accessories are almost infinite. You can also shop for convenient men’s chains with real diamonds or find a nice simple ring to complement your outfit. So keep this tip in mind: when you feel good, you’ll show it to the world.

You must think about the accessories as much as you think about clothes in general. They’re a signature for being well-dressed. Accessories will allow your outfit to speak for itself. They will uncover your individual fashion style in addition to showing your personality through your choices of clothing.

You must think about the accessories as much as you think about clothes in general. They’re a signature for being well-dressed. Things like Off-White accessories will allow your outfit to speak for itself. They will uncover your individual fashion style in addition to showing your personality through your choices of clothing

So, when was the last time you invested in accessories? Did we succeed in convincing you to make a purchase? Is it a belt, a watch, a good pair of sunglasses or bracelets?

Make Sure Your Clothes Fit Perfectly

For women, oversized is the new thing for this season. You either go big, or you go home. Don’t get us wrong; we’re not telling you that you can’t wear baggy clothes either. You just have to dress for the occasion. Can you imagine yourself going to a business dinner and your suit is looser than you might have thought? The overall look is just not appealing to the eyes.

One tip to make any item look better on you is a well-tailored piece of clothing. The former are polished, and again any well-fitted outfit will make you feel comfortable. So, what happens when you discover that you have an excessive amount of loose clothes? Find yourself a local tailor. Have him fix that shirt that’s too long or the pants that drag on the floor. Should you wish to wear anything oversized, make sure it looks fashionable and not sloppy.

Wear More Colors

The third tip will probably shock you the most. Men often fear wearing colors. So they tend to stay away from them and stick to neutrals and basics. But, don’t get us wrong, wearing neutral colors can make a difference in an outfit. We’re aiming for something else though, having colorful pieces in your wardrobe can add a twist.

Summer is all about going out, having fun with your friends, traveling, or going on an adventure. The season’s vibe screams colors! So why not include it in your outfit too? We know you envy your friends for pulling off a red polo. You may think it will look ridiculous on you. But, have you ever tried?

So, what are you afraid of? Many men blame it on the environment they live in or their profession. We understand that there is a particular dress code in some workplaces; we mean black, gray, white, and tan. But, buying colorful items will become easier as you go about and occasionally wear them. The results will help you go a long way.

Get Out of Your Comfort Zone

As mentioned earlier, fashion style is all about renewing yourself through your wardrobe. In other words, a black tie optional,  you need to keep up with the latest trends to fit in with your surroundings fashionably. You wouldn’t want to look overdressed or underdressed. With time, you will become a better shopper once you get a hold of the tips.

But, back to the main event, the tip above will help you get out of your comfort zone. Since summer is all about parties, staying out late, or sunset gatherings, try going for cocktail clothing. You’re probably asking yourself what that term means.

Our fourth tip for you would be to mix patterns and textures. The days of matching your socks with your jacket are thrown out the window! Combining prints and textures is what we call a bold fashion style statement. We’re not asking you to go all out but keep playing around until you feel at ease. Once you’ve reached that point, the student will become the master.

Own More Shoes

Just like accessories, you may think that shoes will not impact your outfit, but they actually do. Once again, you have to dress according to the occasion you’re going to. Footwear can take a casual outfit and turn it into a classy one.

Good quality, comfortable shoes are expensive, but they’re also a wise investment. We do advise you to keep it neutral down there. For example, every man should own at least one pair of white sneakers and black formal shoes. Having a collection of footwear can do you no harm. When going out shopping, think of your lifestyle and buy shoes accordingly. Neutral-colored shoes will allow you to mix and match them with the rest of your outfit.

Conclusion

We all go through a phase when we just can’t find anything nice to wear in our closets. Even professional shoppers and stylists need a boost now and then. We know gentlemen, it can be tough to develop new ways of wearing the same clothes. But, making a few adjustments to the way you wear your outfits and buy certain items can lead to something better and significantly improve your fashion style.
