Brett appreciates the encouragement that he received as a new artist from big-names in country, like Keith Urban, and he strives to do the same today for the next up-and-comers. Brett explained this plan to carry out Keith’s kindness to Sounds Like Nashville.

“The way he lets you be the artist you want to be and encourages that and encourages you to get up there and show your stuff, and also…just really promote the artists that he tours with because he believes in them, and that’s what I want to do one day with my tours is help out others as well,” he explained.

He lives for his fans.

As he described to CBS News, Brett’s loyalty to his fans shows his dedication to bringing joy to others through his art. “A smile on their face is what I live for, and the lyrics on their lips and their sense of wonder is that feeds my sense of wonder,” he explained. Brett draws inspiration from his fans’ passion, and he stays grounded with a down to earth outlook.

He drinks whiskey on the rocks.
