6 US Cities to Visit and Add to Your Bucket List

Most people have some kind of vague bucket list, even if they haven’t put it down on paper. There’s always some new adventure we’d love to be having, instead of the humdrum that is daily life. We thought we’d help you expand that bucket list a little with 6 US Cities to Visit. Not with the usual Thailand Full Moon parties or skydiving. Las Vegas

If you haven’t experienced Las Vegas, then you haven’t really lived. This city is unlike any other in the world. Not only is it a 24-hour party zone, but you’re right next to some beautiful landscapes as well. You can spend the first couple of days losing money in the casinos. Before venturing on over to Red Rock Canyon. This will be one vacation you don’t forget in a hurry. Unless it turns out like something from The Hangover.

New Orleans

There’s so much history in this US city; it can make your head spin. It feels like every day is a holiday in New Orleans, too! You can enjoy one of the many famous jazz bars of an evening, with a bowl full of creole in your belly. By day, explore all that this historic city has to offer. Including some pretty stunning architecture.

Denver

Head to this US city during winter and make sure you bring your skis. There’s something pretty magical about Denver, that you really need to see to believe. Even if you’re not a huge fan of snow sports, there’s a lot to do here when the sun is shining. Did we mention there’s a Coors Brewery here too? Make sure you get a tour of that little gem!

Ocean City

Okay, so Ocean City is technically a town. But it still needs to make it onto your bucket list! With bargain rental accommodation from companies like BHHS Fox & Roach, it’s also one of the cheapest on our list. Make the most of the glorious beaches during the day. Then hit one of the many bars, clubs and restaurants in the evening. There’s a reason so many Americans come here on vacation.

Honolulu

Talking of beaches, they don’t get much better than this. If we could live in Hawaii, then we would. But we’re stuck here, so it will just have to go on our bucket list instead. Do we really need to try and sell you Honolulu? There’s white sanded beaches, pure blue waters, and more coconut cocktails than you can shake a stick at.

New York City

Of course, this was going to make it onto the list. You can’t visit cities in America and not take a trip to The Big Apple. Where do we start with what’s so great about this place? Maybe it’s the ton of shops, restaurants and theaters. Maybe it’s the incredible sights to be had from the top of the Empire State Building. Maybe it’s just the pizza and bagels.

US Cities to Visit

If these cities don’t make you want to go to America, we don’t know what will. From skiing in Denver to partying in Vegas, there’s something to suit everyone. We’re adding them all to our bucket lists!
