As the seasons begin to change, the content of our wardrobes turn towards the autumn and winter styles and with this in mind, menswear specialist Noose & Monkey have released their AW16 collection. Evening wear
The AW16 collection covers the party season and for that reason, there are plenty of stylish evening wear items included. Noose & Monkey are known for their evening wear ranges from blazers to full three piece suits, using velvet or adorned with floral patterns, these styles are at the cutting edge of fashion and design.
This year’s most eye-catching tux is the Burgundy Cutler 3 piece. Made with the signature horseshoe double breasted waistcoat and two button jacket, the outfit is perfect for those stylish evening events. It also features a black sateen contrast lapel which stands out against the rich burgundy shade of the jacket.
The brand has also returned with their plain coloured velvets to ensure that customers can choose a new colour in an old favourite for the party season. Made with 100% cotton, the jackets and coats are available in burgundy, bottle green and navy this year.
Outerwear
Outerwear is the other staple of the autumn-winter season with its variable weather conditions. Noose & Monkey have retained their bestselling flowline coat for the collection, the Hinton. The classic three button and notch lapel style returns with new colours and fabrics as well as an improved fit. The leopard print and black velvet is a startling new addition to the range while classic colours such as camel, khaki and navy are all available once again.
Other outerwear classics to receive the Noose & Monkey treatment this season include the pea coat and the double breasted long coat. The Pinter pea coat comes in a warm camel colour and has a double-breasted design with large collar and three buttons. The Connie ‘salt and pepper’ has the long length style and three buttons as well as the double breast finish.
Tailored outfits
Tailored outfits are in demand all year round but the AW16 collection offers a little something different. The Ginsberg tartan suits are hugely popular and this year will be adding a burgundy and green option to the classic green-blue favourite.
Other tailored items in the collection including the monochromatic Manchester, a wool blend three piece with newly designed waistcoat style. The Glasgow is a new addition, a red two piece also made from 100% British wool while the Leeds is a double-breasted check design in shades of red and black with a horseshoe waistcoat.
